Freezing Issues....

I'll try this again.

I have an issue in combat where the game will appear to freeze, but the game is still continuing on. I can hear the battle and my character even still reacts when I swing my weapon or hit escape or issue orders. My screen is just frozen and i can't see anything that is happening... Any idea what this is?

is all battle freeze? or it start to freeze after some time?

It doesn't always happen, and it happens rather inconsistent. Also, all I have to do is hit Ctrl Alt Del and bring up task manager and minimize the game. Then restore the game and I everything is fine for a few, but then i will freeze once more, and I have to minimize, then restore, minimize then restore each time it freezes. It only seems to happen when i'm active. If I stay still, It doesn't have this "over freeze" where i'm looking at a picture of the last thing that happened and everything is still going on where I cannot see....

does it fix when you restart the game completely?

ummm.... I guess. It happened twince in Single player so far, and I restarted and it was fine. Happened twice in MP, and i restarted and I guess it was fine. But it keeps coming back every once in awhile. Unpredictible. I can play a bunch of battles without incidenet, and then out of nowhere it starts.

This doesn't appear to be a performance issue. It's just... wierd. The game just continues on without without me. heh, it seems cosmetic.

Heh, game hardly works now. Forums hardly work either. Think it's time for a break.
