No, I didn't use any mods.

I was doing some testing with custom battles and noticed that whenever I was commanding or facing an army of sturgian infantry the fps would tank from 50-60 fps to 10-20. This doesn't seems to happen with other armies though I did not test all of them.

I play on a Ryzen 5 1600 AF with 16 gb ram and an AMD RX550, graphics on medium / low at around 30-60 fps most of the time.

We have just updated our telemetry build. Can you switch to that build, test your performance and send us your data?
  1. Switch to “perf_test” from the Steam betas tab.
  2. Open the game as usual and proceed to the stage where there are performance issues
  3. Before the performance issues start, toggle the profiling tool by holding “right shift” and pressing the “t” key.
  4. Record for 20-30 seconds, press the toggle key combination again. Please keep in mind that, the more you record, the more upload time it will require.
  5. Find the "test.tmcap" file in the ‘\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client’ folder. You can find the "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord" folder inside Steam’s application library folder.
  6. Finally, upload the file to the "upload.taleworlds.com" site. Please write your username and this threads URL into the description box so that we can find it easier. It is appreciated if you provide more information about your PC, what you were doing while the game was recording and your graphics configuration.

I am not on my pc right now but my version is from Gog.com, where can I find the perf_test over there?

Edit: So I downloaded the last update on gog, I just don't know if I can use a telemetry build there. Other than that I can no longer issue orders to my troops other than 'move here'.

An update on this.

I've downloaded the latest version (e1.5.6) and performance seems to have improved significantly, though sturgian infantry still seem to lag more than other troops. If there is a way to perform perf_test on the gog version I will gladly send the report.

As the required information was not provided within 2 weeks, this thread is marked as resolved. If the issue still continues, please update this thread.
