Formation mod?

Ok there might be a simple and obvious answer but I've ran search after search but I've yet to find this "Formation Mod" people have spoke of in a few threads.

The only time I've seen it actually mentioned was it being bundled with a larger mod. Is there just a formation mod for Native? I would download the larger mod with it included but I'm on my first play through so I want to keep it Native"ish" until I beat it. So I've just been adding minor tweaks here and there to snaz Native up a bit.

This formation mod seems pretty snazzy too.

So is there an independent formation mod? If so where can I get it? However if it's not independent is there a way to MacGyver it into working for Native?


*Edit* Sorry if this is the wrong form. I think I picked the right one... Dunno for sure though.

It is not a mod, it is a collection of scripts that you must manually implement using the module system.

Now how in the world do I go about working the module system thing? I can't even get it to boot...

First off, download python, http://www.python.org/.

Get a text editor, anything really. (You can use IDLE)

Copy your native folder, and rename it to your mod's name.

Edit module_info.txt and change it to your desired directory.
