Formation Bug

It seems my Swadian Crossbowmen keep facing the enemy vertically in the battlefield for some obscure and strange reason? Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Vertically? So theyre all standing on one anothers shoulders? A screenshot would be nice

Never had this, but it can occur if large amounts of enemies are routing & new enemies spawn. this can make the formation go all kinds of crazy for a bit.

No, that would be an interesting bug but unfortunately it isn't that . I'm sure he means that rather than forming a line which is perpendicular to the direction that the enemy are coming from, the archers form a line that is parallel to the direction the enemy are coming from. So you have one archer behind the other.

I have seen other people mention it, and it happened to me occasionally in beta Custom Battles. It hasn't happened for me yet in the release version(s).

What I also noticed is that at start of a battle, your line formation must turn around 180° first.
The ones that spawn on the left will walk to the right and the other way round.
