It is probably the best design for a mb console variant that i have seen so far. Considering that m+k arent used for this, the dumbing down of the control scheme is a sensible decision and looking at it now, the fights still seem reasonably challenging and skill based.

Ubisoft do make great trailers. The AC trailers always look great but the gameplay lacks on most of them.

I actually like the whole era merge stuff. It's different. And isn't every single game some what unrealistic or historically inaccurate?

I'm against the hero-ified armours out of principle, they're screwing up anatomy with retarded armours once again. The only thing I really liked seeing in the game so far, aside from kinda liking the gamemode/game idea when looking at it as an arcade-game, is that there's actual use of the sword in all possible ways; aka, halfswording or hiltsmacking.

It isn't hiltsmacking, though, it's some random bull**** that makes character perform a finisher that burrows guard of sword in conveniently revealed weak-spot.

Yes it is, but it's the first time I'm seeing a legit technique like that being used in an arcade game like this. However much out of place, it did impress me somewhat.

I'm pretty sure all the swords will cut through plate armour. It's probably an aesthetic thing rather than a functional thing.
