Just finish download this mod, and when play it, its awesome! But I remember there's a text "PoP 3: WB is designed for experienced M&B WB players.  If you just began playing Mount and Blade: Warband, you may want to develop your fighting skills in Native or easier mods before trying PoP 3: WB, but we welcome all comers if you are like us and just want to get right into the fire and take your beatings as you play. Whatever the case, be advised that you have been WARNED"

Are you sure about this? What make it so different with native? I dont see anything. Is this because Im an experience player?

I dont mean to take offense, just want your opinion. Share here!

Wait till you fight 2000 Noldor, or Daemonic magni.

And as always, a game is only as hard as the difficulty you set.

Unless it's Eyegrim

Who is Eyegrim? Final boss? So, I can beat this game?

Here's Eyegrim.  http://pop3.wikia.com/wiki/Eyegrim_the_Devourer

He has an army of Fallen troops that are dangerous.  Even the lowest of the low can take a lot of punishment.  The Fallen Revenants are freaking EVIL.  The Three Seers and their Doomguides are dangerous.  VERY.  DANGEROUS.  And you haven't fought any Knighthood troops yet, have you?  Try a charge of 20 Knights of the Lion.  They hit HARD.  But, are easy to kill with late game troops and weaponry.  Ever had to deal with Knights of the Dragon?  I fought Duke Alexis.  Those guys take a lot of punishment, and deal it right back out.  I had Silvermists and Hero Adventurers.  I won, at the cost of a LOT of men.

Not only that, sieges with Knighthood order troops are high loss.  Even Rangers of the Clarion Call, horse archers, rack up kills in a siege.  And don't get me started on the Noldor.  I've assisted a group of thirty Noldor, with my 80 troops, and they got 90% of the kills easily.  Most of the enemy (a 200 strong force) didn't even make it halfway there before they were knocked off the horse.  And Noldor Twilight Knights kill anything that moves.

Demonic Magni suck.  I fought an army with only 4 left, and lost 40 of my troops.  3/4 of them were to Magni.

Don't judge a book by its cover, or in this case, don't judge a game by the first 134 days.  You're only in the early game.  The mid-late game is where the challenge emerges.

Spawn armies pwn, you either need adventurers or knighthood orders to defeat them,as they will totally out number you and fielding regular units is most of the time pointless (depends on units and spawn), Late game can turn into a nightmare if u dont prepare properly

Wow! When Eyegrim come? Looks like this mod will be challenging

It's random.  He'll appear whenever.  And it is.  Just wait.  You think Eyegrim is fun?  UH-UH.  He cuts troops to pieces in a single blow.  1000 Sarleon troops couldn't even take out half his military.  It's SCARY.  XD

Yeah, I don't think you have to wait nearly that long.  The very beginning in PoP is far harder than vanilla.  If you didn't notice the difference by day five then either you haven't played vanilla in a long time or you were very lucky.

Those small roving bands of knights, fast, high level and well-equipped, are more dangerous than anything in vanilla not led by a lord.  Vanskerries are significantly tougher than Sea Raiders.  And just the fact that garrisons are so much larger means tougher sieges and larger armies also mean higher costs and a little more management (food, etc.)

It's not that the mod is the hardest one out there necessarily, but if you're new to Mount & Blade so you don't know to put points into Pathfinding and things like that, you will likely find PoP very frustrating.

No one has mentioned Syla Uzas yet. He comes with an immense army filled with Immortals (elite top tier knighthood order infantry) that just turn your army into mincemeat and if that weren't enough he also has Shadow Legion Centurions (heavy knighthood order cavalry on steel-plated horses with heat-seeking javelin-missiles) that will take care of the rest.

That's because I avoid him.  I find him worse than Eyegrim, just because he has a large amount of dangerous units, while Eyegrim and his minions just need to be couched.

Syla Uzas and his troops kill you before you can couch them.

I'm curious... does anyone actually play PoP on a fresh character or a legit exported character?  I've tried doing both but I still feel so useless by like 30 days into the game.  I'm considering making a character with 10 in all skills, 63 in all attributes, and lvl 60 because I feel like everyone else does this for this mod.  I remember seeing that video of the guy trying to wittle down a 4500-sized bandit army and there was a part where he went to party screen, it showed that he had 10(+4) in like every party skill.

I've never imported a character that was "adjusted" and even then I feel like a cheater. Starting fresh may take time but for me it makes the game feel a little more personal and when you do finally get powerful enough to change Pendor politics it feels more rewarding.

I sometimes do.  Usually it leads to a slow start, but I gradually make it up there.  When I want to get somewhere quickly, I import.  In a current game, I'm only at day 19 and I already am well on my way to getting my usually 20 Hero Adventurers to start.

A Level 27 character with 200k.  Low enough to be flexible, but still pack a punch.  I've had some very good luck with combinations in the past.  A character I started with once had stats in nearly everything intelligence and charisma related, so I didn't bother with them.  But I can't remember the combo!

Does that coun as cheating?

I only edited my stats once, and that was towards the endgame where I got tired of being literally unable to win Noldor tournaments due to slowness and low health.

I don't think so.  It IS offered by the game, and you aren't editing anything to make yourself mega-powerful, it just gives you a head start.
