me and lady ellona and a few others rped as villagers and village elder ect calenloki it would be nice to add a few open houses for more rp that would be very nice :smile: so we can expend our rp
 
seconded.

i noticed alot of people trying to roleplay villagers atm, but theres like 1 open barn in the small village.
expand the village + make the houses open pretty please :grin:
 
Yeah i agree its a Bit hard also if Possible maybe add a Few Villager Tools around the Village? like a Woodcutting Axe or Scythe etc...
 
Add Corn and Cabbages and flower plots instead of the field with straw in it  :mrgreen:
 
Of course a deposit and withdrawal station for easy tax collecting. Maybe a more expensive house for the ruler of the village so there are some armed men around too. Thank you!
 
there are only like 5 open building models in the whole game :razz: difficult to do that .

The only open village houses would be the full stable... but thats a stable lol.

A house interior could be made only from wall props, but it'd have no straw roof, only a flat top.
 
We can always just have Inn's where people stay, interior_tavern_d is perfect for that and it fits 4 rooms.
 
Hey.Sorry for not answering, but  ATM I'm not in mood to edit VoS. maybe after weekend. Also:
-even if I'm not answering, I'm reading 100% valuable posts from that board (all beside those useless whine threads "ban him" and "unban me")
-there is dedicated VoS thread - no need to mess this board even more. I can understand creating thread if you have large, detailed, open for discussion idea, but for single simple request?
-don't ask me for changing mod - it's Laszlo and Vornne part. i can't add weapons without having props first, and there is no peasant scythe in this mod (military scythe is T2 weapon, and thus it's place is in forts)
-I don't have too many buildings with interiors, so unless you model one I can only add something similar to town houses.
-Village is useless, because there is no gameplay reason to improve it - we don't have any kind of farming
-I won't add yet another tavern/inn/bar - Three Ways Inn is too close.
-Making house from small props is a lot of work if you want to avoid clipping, and eats lots of polygons. IMO village is not worth it (unlike i.e. castle or TW HQ that have been built in such technique)
-using any native prop with interior_ prefix isn't possible - you can enter such interior, but can't exit. Remodel it (open door from inside) and ask Laszlo to add it to his mod, than I'll try to add it inside some building. Eventually ask them to add prop that send player 3 meters forward, so you can enter closed meshes (and undergrounds!)
 
It is now possible for me to edit interiors, Do you prefer them to be in BFR format or Obj format?

Ignore that, Still I can edit interiors and do general 'Hack' jobs, so PM me if you need any help :smile:
 
Only problem with me making interiors they will most likely look out of place seeing as it was designed by someone different and same go for textures.
 
The problem with just opening up the current interiors is that they are nearly all bigger than the corresponding exterior, if there is one, and the exteriors often have one sided faces crossing their "interior". In my opinion a better idea would be to combine the exteriors with the interiors to one mesh - otherwise it would be very tricky to line doorways up, without using ugly looking extra bits all over the place. No need to stress about it though... :wink:
 
Yeah I could do that, with exporting them into .obj format and simply resizing them, but I don't have any idea which interiors and exteriors would go together if you could suggest one I could try it and see results.
