Hello. Umm, is there a way to adjust body sizes for some armors? Playing a female character, it just kinda irks me that some armors suddenly give you a beefy body, like some of the recolored versions of native armors.

Hi is there a way to fix the world map at night time i find it unplayable as it way to dark to see towns and stuff thanks.
 
On Nexus it says you have removed the custom troop trees. Does that mean that Sigmund's mercenaries aren't customisable with this mod?

I tried editing around with khergit armors, as i remembered from native they did have female versions, but the new colors just have the male one. I didnt find any double mesh indicating a male and female version. Morghs simply gives 1 mesh for each item, and i have no idea how to bring about the female form even if the new armor is identical to the original. Dont know if its the case, but feels like the meshes are merged with the textures into one file, so theres probably no simple solution here

I decided I'm never gonna use the expanded troop trees, as they seem exceedingly complicated and, well, abundant, especially with the Nords. The reworked one is simpler, has more logical advance routes imo and I just like it better, also the power gap between troops was way too big for my liking. I noticed there were some inconsistencies in the troop strenght and equipment making the AI battles when I was freelancing rather unfair, so I just went out of my way to make everything fixed and balanced. I did my best to set everything as optimal, logical, balanced, immersive, as I could. Hopefully this time no troops and no nation will be shorthanded. I also gave the mid-tree-endtroops some "special" abilities to make them feel a bit unique. And I also tried to give the troops colour themes and just generally make it nicer to look at.
I changed some items also, both nerfs and buffs, as I felt the setup wasnt really fair (especially with the Khergits who just roll around like thunder in their indeed very overpowered armor).

So heres my two files - troops.txt and item_kinds1.txt that balance the REWORKED TREE out. I put hours of changing and testing into it and am quite content with the result, so I wanted to share.

PS: There's also the actions.txt, which I meddled with to remove the animations I didn't like and made it look more like the original Floris.
PPS: Not fully compatible with Floris 2.55 - It will work if you take both troops and items and use them - I didnt find any major inconsistencies safe for the fact that the starting gear is all messed up - but the inventories for troops and merchants will work.

I've been loving this mod the little I've played with it - mostly because unlike Floris I can enter tournaments without crashing, my one major gripe though is a complete lack of stability?
I've crashed more times in an hour of playing this mod than I have in the entirety of my time playing the base Floris mod.

I have poked around in the files and I can't find any crash logs to post, but I can say that I crash during battles, starting battles, after battles, entering and/or leaving towns, talking to friendly/enemy lords. They're instant CTD without any sort of error. It's gotten to the point I'm saving before and after doing ANY sort of interaction. I've yet to crash entering a tournament though.  :lol:

Please help!

Windows 10 64bit
GTX 980
i5 4670k
16GB DDR3

Edit: After a bunch of fiddling, including reading the crash FAQ  :roll: I managed to solve my problem.

One last annoying question, I'm trying to use the reshaders and I keep getting the error "Could not find path (insert default steam path here)"
I have steam installed directly onto C, I'm maybe missing something obvious here but I can't seem to work out how to change the path in mediator.

Never mind, I figured that out also. Had to delete the profile and remake it. Not 100% sure I'm going to continue using the shader though, it feels a little too bright for the setting of Floris.

PS. I am loving this version of Floris! Reignited my passion for Warband.

Hey guys.

So I got this weird bug that i need to activate the game via serial key. If i start via the Floris evolved .exe it appears but not if i start M&B Warbands on steam.
I played Floris Evolved for over 20 hours already without problems (always starting via Floris Evolved .exe). But then I loaded a save via steam by mistake and after that the serial key bug appeared. Reinstalling didnt do anything.

Thats how i reinstalled, i dont know what i did wrong:

1) deinstalled every warbands related file (steam and documents folders)
2) downloaded Warbands on steam again
3) started the game in Native, went to main menu and quit
4) downloaded the Floris Evolved installer
5) installed Floris Evolved in my Steam/Warbands directory
6) started the "Floris Evolved" .exe on my desktop
7) serial key bug appeared again

Thats exactly how i installed it the first time too. Pls help, this mod is so awesome :/

Edit: OK, thats the by far weirdest thing ive encountered in a while. I tried it again right after i posted this and now the message doesnt appear! I hope it stays like this >.<. Thanks for the Mod, its truely awesome :smile:
 
Since the latest update the old english troop names for floris don't seem to work anyone know of another that might work or if anyone has edited themselves and wants to share :smile:
 
Does anyone know how to edit the option of AI battle speed on campaign map at the mod options menu?

I want the AI battles to be slower more than it is now. (current option range is between 1 to 5)

Hey there - first of all, thank you so much for the mod.  Really revived the game for me and I've been enjoying it a lot.

Is there any chance the module source files are available for download somewhere?  I would love to add some extra items, companions, etc. just for my own playthrough.  I remember the old Floris source files had up to a hundred extra companions in the files, ready to go.  You just had to uncomment a few lines.  I know it's cheesy to stuff an army full of effectively immortal soldiers but sometimes that's what I'm in the mood for, haha.

Also I'm trying to learn how to mod myself and I thought I'd take a crack at adding an Outposts kit.

I have recently downloaded Floris Evolved mod. I have a GOG 1.170 version of this game and I have experienced a problem. I installed the game via installer and patched it to 1.11b, and when I try to launch it using that Floris Evolved.ini on desktop, it says: "Couldn't find mb_warband.exe or mb_warband_dedicated.exe. So I moved it to my root directory folder and opened using WSELoader.exe file which I downloaded externally. Then it started my game and it asked me for the game key (my version is legal and bought on GOG). Everything in-game was fine until it showed red letters and script errors.

So, guys, which fix do you propose?

Probably an issue with WSE and M&B version 1.170.. You can search around in the WSE section https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=324890.0

When the game asked for the key, did you type it in? Only asking to rule out anything :smile:
 
So. Is this mod still active?
Also if anyone is reading this and might help. I get these regular crashes in battle's with deserters and enemy lords. Often when the battle starts. Any idea what's up?
