I've added it to my list, but we'll probably end up living with this one in 2.5.

I'm not sure if this but chances are it probably has been. So I apologize in advance if it has. No matter what faction I fight for nor which troop tree (expanded, reworked, native) I use, the army just steamrolls over any army, fort, or city/center. And I do mean steamrolled. Having played with various factions and fought numerous battles/sieges I can say for certain that the army(ies) I enlist and fight with dominate anyone they face. I fought with one army that consisted of around 250 troops. They fought five battles in a row against armies that had between 100 and 200 troops and easily defeated them time and time again killing just about all the enemy soldiers and losing between 1 to 3 men. Then we took on a city in which we took losing around 64 men and killing/routing/etc 300 + men. This has been done without me contributing at all to the fights and on the highest difficulty possible.

I'm sure this isn't a bug but I'm not sure this is working as intended either. I could be wrong but whenever I play the game it just feels like I'm cheating even though I just stand there and watch the enemy get (seemingly) slaughtered no matter the odds or troops involved. Just wondering if anyone else feels this way, has experienced this, or if there is a way to correct this.

Combat Speed: Normal

This is the settings I use when playing almost any mod so you can see why I'm a bit confused as to why the army(ies) I fight for seem to dominate every battle/siege.
 
UPDATE: Black kerghit horsemen have also appeared running about with the steppe bandits. It makes them incredibly difficult. I don't have a clue where they've appeared from. Don't know if this is the same as the mercenaries appearing or not.

Does it only appear when lords have been defeated (like it appears to above)?
Unfortunately the bug isn't in the script that is displayed on screen but whatever is calling that script, so any help you can give on that would be appreciated (does it happen every X hours or only after events, for instance).

It seems to happen every day. And my party always feeds at that exact point. Lords sometimes escape as well. Ill double check with another few screenshots because it seems to happen everyday.

All different even if they look similar. Check the date, I was patrolling for days.
I'm not very good at programming so this is just a guess. But it always seems to happen when something significant
happens. Like I feed my party/budget report/lord escapes etc.

Related question: The bandits where I was patrolling are VERY powerful. I'm talking groups of up to 150 with big numbers of Black Khergit Horsemen (who aren't meant to be there :razz:). I can't defeat them. Even with a 300 force on easiest difficulty. I've had to pick them off one group at a time, but the remaining 3 are over 120 strong. And by the ridiculous number of prisoners they have they seem to be unbalancing the game. The sarranid sultanate was doing alright until the bandits showed up and now they're losing almost every war. here's a typical group:

Is this a bug? These sizes of group keep appearing everywhere but not with such strong troops. That's why I was looking for a way to reduce the number of bandit max parties if not the size.
 
I would like to thank everyone who tried out any of the Beta versions and made remarks, reported bugs, made suggestions and let us know how they experienced 2.5 Beta. Without you all we wouldn't have come so far!

I'm now going to upload the final version to all different kinds of mirrors. This will take probably 24 hours or something like that, so anything you report from this moment on will be carried along to version 2.6.

Once again thanks. I hope you enjoyed the ride, and will enjoy the full version!

I don't think it is. I played a little bit of the beta with the third patch and I went to set up an enterprise and I got a message that it was still being tested, but I was still allowed to have one because I had cheats enabled. So already there are going be some differences between Beta patch 3 and final release because the beta had some things disabled in it.
 
Found a bug, got the troublesome bandit quest from a guild master and the bandits do the motion to take out an arrow but the arrow disappears after it is placed to be fired.

Edit: As soon as I ordered my infantry to charge they started to fire. But when I had killed 20 of them they refused to fire and just take it.
 
This may be a slightly ridiculous question as I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but will 2.5 have its own expanded pack version like 2.4 upon the official release?

Yep. If you download 2.5 Beta it is a whole different module than 2.4 so you could have both if you really wanted to.

Looks like everything is still there, just upgraded to newest versions and added more stuff. Never gave the mod list a good look over.
 
So I just got some sort of bug where King Yaroglek asked me to that quest in which you have to "make a king lose his vassal?".. anyways, in this case I had to do it to Hensir Bulba.
The thing is, that I kept refusing the quest and, when I asked for a new task, he kept proposing me the same quest, but with a different nord vassal

you see that he proposed this quest 6 times and I refused 6 times, saying it was "dishonourable" and got 12 honour, but now he hates me

So is this a bug? or does the game considers it each time a different quest with different vassal?
 
Hello! Today I found these issues:

I cannot activate the "show when points are awarded" flag. It says you already have three options selected.

Then I saw that this sword changes its color if I move away:

Technically yes, but while Megaupload allows uploads of over 1 GB for anybody, it only allows downloads of that size to premium members. As we werent aware of that and only realized after the upload, we had to redo a few things. Full release will be sometime this night.

Sorry for the inconvenience folks.
