Pachyderme_Babar
Greetings everyone
I introduce myself, I'm Babar | Bogæðwyr, a French player that has been playin' Warband for about 1 year'n'a half. You may have already seen me on a famous duel server or on da IG battleground server.Firstly, I'm really sorry for botherin' ya because, ya certainly have other things to take care about. So, I'm gonna set the problem out, Mount and Blade Warband doesn't recognize all my RAM. So, I think it causes me this particular issue that makes my fps get down from 120 fps to around 40 fps when some people are in my sight. Plus, it triggers lags and some "freez". I've already set my graphics options to low, texture on 65%, DirectX7... I'd like add that my pc is a laptop. It's a Hp laptop http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&destPage=document&docname=c02911338&lang=fr&lc=en&product=5131761&tmp_docname=c02911338 . I've tried to re-install Warband, to launch it with Steam and without Steam, nothin' changes. I've also modified Warband compatibility with Windows XP 3 to Windows 7. I've also decreased my framerates from 120 to 70, but I'd like to find a solution because, in my opinion, I must be able to make Warband work perfectly and smoothly with 8 Go RAM and a graphic card of 1Go... I noticed there were da same phenomenon of lags, stutterings during fights in Mount and Blade With Fire and Sword. For example, when I'm on a map, like Sand'i'Bush, I lag a lot when there are 4 people in da same place, as a consequence, my framerate get down from 70 to 40....
Here are my specs:
- OS : Windows 7 (64 bits)
- CPU : Intel Core I7-2630QM @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs) ~ 2.00GHz
- Memory : 8192MB RAM DDR3
- Hard disk SATA : 1TB
- GPU : It's the famous switchable mode between da Intel chipset HD Graphics Family of 786MB methink, and a better graphic card, that is to say, an AMD HD 6490M of 1GB DDR5.

Maybe, I should switch from da Intel chipset to da AMD graphic card (maybe it could be one part of da problem I'm encounterin').
But what I'm mostly payin' attention to da memory that isn't detected, one 1GB of RAM is recognized by Warband out of 8GO on my laptop...
It is da same for WFaS (executed with Windows XP 2 in order to test if it could have resolved da problem...with different graphics options than Warband)

I hope I haven't too much botherin' ya with my problems, and I hope that my descriptions are enough "clear". Anyway, I thank ya a lot for havin' had da courage to finish readin' this post...and I thank ya a lot for havin' paid attention to my visibly unsolvable issue...
This problem, I'm pretty sure that I ain't alone to have it, so, if I'm helped, I'm convinced dat it could help other gamers of da Taleworlds community. I'd add that I only play on Warband multiplayer, so it's a real pain in the a** if ya know what I mean, because when ya're in front of players that can play Warband smoothly, I'm certain that it can make a great difference in fights, mostly durin' competitions... I've also been told dat Mount and Blade Warband was not optimized very well, so it may be one cause of my problem ? Anyway, I hope there's a solution.
Kind regards from France and I wish ya all my best
