Even funnier then equiping yourself with all these fish, would be seeing a bunch of enemies all coming wielding hammerhead sharks and throwing fish!
 
Hey, are you supposed to be under water in this mod? If so, consider changing the horse to a dolphin or a sea horse. Or is that possible? I'll check back later.

Obviously, you have the skills to make something more interesting...
 
This is no waste of talent, it's an exercise in creative modding <that's a rarity these days. And if he's going to work on a more serious mod, he'll be experienced enough for that one to go sans much learning/frustration thanks to this. I've actually seen mod teams make and release quick silly mods to get the hang of things before getting to their serious project.

I had an idea for this mod while playing M&B the other day, to rename the "gold" to "clams". Get it? :lol: :roll: That shield reminded me.

Btw, I'd be interested in your process of getting all these new items in game. I tried exporting/smoothing/reimporting a hat with Lurb's viewer, wings, and 3ds, but it was a failed somewhat passive attempt. The model seems to have dissapeared somewhere along the line :mad: . And even if that worked I'd have no idea how to make new objects. I'll have another look at it tomorrow, but I'm the kind of modder who has to wait for the tools and subsequent step-by-step tutorials to come out, like so many others. My point is since you've gotten so many new items in the game with no apparent problems, and relatively quickly, I'm sure you're plenty qualified to give us noobs a step-by-step rundown of the process if that's not asking too much :grin: .

Indeed, i am having great fun with this mod it is completely absurd playing around with it and gives me a good laugh. No modding is a waste of talent really, its all good practice. :razz:

About that tutorial, i will do one for you guys. Its easy peasy getting stuff in game if you follow my process. Although it will probably only be relivant to Wings3d :smile:

man dude you got uber leet moding skills! i got to say this is the best(graphficly) mod ever!

ok time to nickpick. Frist off horses! make them like dolphens or something or even biger fish.

now since its under warter how bout bubbles?(im not shure how to do that but somethings that come to mind)
how bout replaceing blood with bubbles or trees with bubbles that come from sea bed?

and how bout swiming? you knw 3d movement(it would add some more strat to game)

and remember the skys not the limt! THE TOP OF THE WATER IS hahahahahahahaha ok peace out :cool:
 
yeah, i will release it when i feel like it. Probably i will make a release once i have new material support and the mods can draw from their own .brfs and textures.

Then i will make another release once i have animation support and i have made sound nice mounts. :smile:
 
If you actually release this as a mod, is there a way to disable any weapons you don't fishify, so as to keep consistency so there aren't actual swords being blocked by fish?
