First person or third person?

Which one do you play from, the eyes of the character or looking at his back? Personally i play from first person, (tombraider goes medieval sucks)

I didn't even know there was a 1st person until I was sucked into 3rd person. So 3rd person for me, I like to see my guy swing the axe around and just get a bandit right in the neck...it's nice...

I need to play in third person I really hate the first person tunnel vision. I played Everquest for about a year and I just couldn't get used to wearing the blinders. In real life you can see all around you unless you have some disease.

First person, because it's more immersive and you can see your opponent better.

Depends.

Having a low res textured shield stuck up your face while not being able to see your enemy I might find annoying.

I prefere first person, because it's so much more real.
And besides, throwing axes and shooting the crossbow/bow in third person without a reticule is difficult at times.

Normally I'm a big 1st person fan, but I'm already so used to playing 3rd person in M&B, I always play 3rd now.

Ever tried playing with a female character in first person and do the training?
