Fire & Sword - new mod opportunities?

I was just curious if you guys have been following Fire & Sword and whether you know if it opens any new doors for modders...  If you intend to build on top of that in future...

Well, Brytenwalda has about 2.000% more features (and thats no joke), then Fire&Sword. So no, I don't think that we get new things for modders :wink:
 
The module system for WFaS is not out yet.
There are no plans to port it to WFaS (especially since some features from Warband is missing).
That said, there are a few new features, but I don't see any of them being useful in Brytenwalda,
except maybe equipping your troops like you can in the mercenary camps...
 
WFaS is pretty much a mod from M&B that got ported to Warband and for some reason a price tag was attached. It is not a bad game but not worth being charged for. The one or two features found in it could probably be scripted into Warband.

Comment retracted. Currently I do not see any benefit to switching over to WFaS. That is all.
 
Let us not discuss opinions on WFaS. There's plenty of that already.
Suffice to say WFaS will not have much of an 'impact' on Brytenwalda, if any.
 
ok lets port a game that takes place in like 654 to a game that takes place in 1655.......
you cannot port this game to With Fire and Sword, and there is no point as With Fire and Sword only adds guns to the game and the ability to send caravans, oh yea lol and Merc camps which we all can live without.
 
The fact of the matter is that the non-subjective portions Pundragon's retracted comment are correct--the changes in WFaS exist at the level of the module system, not the .exe (engine) so there would be little-to-nothing to gain from "porting" Brytenwalda to WFaS.

WFaS does not provide new mod opportunities beyond the items, scenes etc, which wouldn't particularly help this mod much.
