I missplaced Marnin, I left him at Praven and hes no longer there? Do they gravitate somewhere?

did you try the four ways inn? I think i read somewhere that the heros go to that place (i'm not sure but you can probably do a forum search to confirm or just try looking for them there)

If you told them to stay at a particular spot its likely they got chased off. Your best bet is to enable cheats and turn truesight on.

how do I get truesight? I have never played with cheats. This is annoying

Ctrl+T for truesight and Ctrl+click on the ground to move to that place on the map.

You have to enable cheats in the option screen at startup first.

Its in the config.ini file.

Click on your M&B shortcut. Choose configure at the first menu.
A notepad document should open up.
Scroll down till you see the Cheats! section.
change the line underneath to read cheat_mode=1
or similar, just change the 0 to a 1, save and close
load the game as usual and the cheats should be activated.

Finding him without cheats: Just wait ages at where you left him. He'll eventually come back.
