Few weird Kingdom things

So I finaly managed to get my self a kingdom.
Currently I own 4 castles and 4 vassals. In the beginning everything was fine.
I had my whole counsil and 1 vassal, one of my companions. Money rolled like crazy and relationship with my vassal was very high

But after 3 others joined things started to become a bit buggy.
So here are a few weird things I encountered. Maybe they are meant to be like this but I'm just pointing them out.

1. Relationships - This only started to happen when those 3 others joined. I randomly lose 1-5 relationship with my vassals. It's always a different vassal but almost every day I my relationship with a vassal detiorates. Even my companion vassal. They have no reason, not even losing in battle. They just happen.

But same thing at the end of the week, when my budget is revealed. I lose -5 relationship with all my vassals. Is it meant to be like that?

2. Fiefs - In the beginning I gave my companion a castle. I kept the village though. But after those other lords joined me, she also got the village somehow. Now everytime I grant a vassal a castle, they also obtain the village(s) that belong to it. It is also impossible for me to grant a village as a fief, I can only give castles as a fief. But somehow, when one of those lords joined, he instantly got a village as fief without me giving it to him.
Also, when one of the 2 villages I used to own gets raided, I still get notifications and with others I don't.

3. Corruption - I had no corruption in the beginning. But I wanted to make more profit. So I lowered my own purse to 0 and lowered the title of my vassal one lower.
I instantly got corruption. So I gave them back their original title. but after 4 weeks I still have 30.000 florins corruption. Which is weird because in the game it says that if you lower your own purse, the corruption should go.
My nobility is only at 36% (clergy at 11% and commoners at 3%). Might this be the issue? Also, I'm not sure if it's supposed to, but these number decrease every week (the week before it was 42, 15 and

4. Exil - So I just got another lord who came in exil to me. I didn't accept his pledge yet but I still had to pay him?

Hey welcome to Nova Aetas. Good to see you having your own kingdom. You should post a screenshot. Especially towns bring in the money for your budget.

1) Relations will suffer because you're a king in feudal times. You need to keep your nobility happy, or they'll move out. Do this by talking to a councillor and give em a letter, gold or other stuff to increase relationship. Historically nobles were annoying for kings. Kings often fought them.

2) Villages are tied to castles/towns. This is a mechanic from the original game.

3) This is my personal note about corruption:

      ## Corruption
  # Calculated with King's Purse as base. When the player grabs, his people will do the same.
  # Also calculated with a base of 50,000, powerful clergy will reduce this by 2,500 Florins per point.
  # Corruption costs ranges from 0.000 - 100.000
  # Ideal corruption costs (lol) = 30,000

Calculation:
* If king's purse > 5000, then do king's purse * 5
* Add this with  50,000 - 2500 * clergy power percentage to get corruption amount

4) Yes, yes. Nobility didn't get taxed, though they did get gold from the treasury historically.

Here's a screenshot of mainly my expenses.
My profits are simply 4 castle's and 3 villages ranging from 9.500 to 10.450
And trade tariffs of 20.475

My corruption has lowered this week but basicly, as you can see, I'm having negative profit only because of that.

As for 1.
That does make sense yes. But only for the -5 at the end of the week. Not the random -4 (just figured out it's always -4).
But it doesn't make sense for all vassals. I could imagine a lord that doesn't get along with the king would decrease in relationship each week.
But I think that if you reach a certain relationship, it shouldn't. For example, my companion vassal has a relationship of 80 towards me but she still decreases. Doesn't really make sense for someone who likes me to decrease in relationship.
And maybe some more ways to increase relationships would be nice. Spending 10.000 per lord each week gets expensive.
Btw, does the "give more privilges" affect anything else than the relationship?

2. Haven't really experienced this in the original game but never got my own kingdom there, only a vassal.
However, I figured out (after kicking one of my vassals out) that if I give the castle to myself, I can give the village as a fief

3. but that doesn't make sense.
As you can see from the screenshot, with that calculation my corruption should be 10.000 lower.
0 kings purse times 5 is 0. 10% clergy times 2500 is 25.000. So that makes 50.000 - 25.000.
Or should the clergy be higher to have any effect?
Also, is it true, as in the beginning with my kingdom, having a companion as vassal doesn't make any corruption? Because with only her as vassal I had no corruption.
But basicly, I should keep my purse low and clergy high and commoners high to have the most profit?

Another thing; these edicts, what do they do?
I invoke an edict, I lose money, it says I can't invoke or revoke another edict for a certain amount of days.
But nothing changes, I can instantly invoke another edict and I can't revoke anything

You're really running a deficit. Each point to the commoners increase your income by 2,500. Towns should give average of 300,000, castles 10,000, villages 15,000. Maybe you
can conquer more towns? Make sure yours towns have enough religious uniformity. Uniformity of only 2% means = 2% income only.

1) Giving more privileges also increases nobility power with 10 points.
I don't know where the random -4 comes from When I look at the script I see that you get a -4 penalty when the lord has no fiefs.
Sometimes he gets -2 instead. In v4.0 you can spend 20,000 Fl. to give a +20 boost.

2) Looks pretty good to me.

3) Yes, keep your purse low and power of clergy high to avoid corruption better.
But you're true. The calculation uses a variable for calculating the advisor's salary. This adds 7,500 Fl. to corruption. I'll edit the script to prevent that.
So it's basically 50,000 - 10 * 2,500 + 7,500 = 32,500

4) The main purpose is to change the balance of power. Giving the nobility more power for example.

Yes I am.
I made huge profit when I only had Matheld as a vassal. But with more vassals and thus the corruption, everything went south.
I tried conquering more. But I've been at war with both the Rhodoks and the Vaegir for 100 days.
The Vaegir didn't seem to bother with me for 90 days. But the Rhodok kept coming after the castles I took from them.
At a certain point I was defending a siege with 160 troops against an army of 900 Rhodoks. I did with, but with heavy casualties.
By the time I rebuilt my army, they took another shot. And it went on like that.
At a certain point I decided to make my way to Jalkele to take over the city and the castle next to it. But only 2 of my vassals responded to my call and they only had armies of 50 troops...
It was enough for the siege, I could use them as fodder while my archer took out the wall. But during the siege my vassals got in a battle so I had to help them which made me cancel the siege because after the battle they barely had any troops left... And the Vaegir decided to finally join the war and capture my strongest vassal with 170 troops.
Shortly after they both asked for peace on the same day so I agreed so I could build an army.

It came to my though to maybe attack a small faction, with less vassals like the Papal or the Horde. But it seems 3000 troops are defending the last castle of the horde.
So getting castles and town isn't very easy at the moment.

I gave 2 vassals privileges at the same time.
But just like the edicts, they don't seem to have any effect.
What only seems to increase the points of anything is the send gifts

You can only send a Letter of Approval every 7 days. Look for Q -> messages to check whether message you get;

The scribe is set to work, Majesty.

or

But your Majesty! Time is limiting our scribes. We cannot send letters now and then. You need to wait {reg0} days!

Sometimes the message isn't displayed on the screen, because it's already filled with other messages.
What edict did you invoke?

It's not about the letter of approval but about more privileges which doesn't +10.

The edicts I tried so far are:
Establish a council of noblemen
Prohibit other religions
Appoint officials in towns
Establish a council of commoners

Each time I do one it says:
As you wish your majesty. Please I need to inform you that we cannot issue or revoke another edict now.

But if I talk to him after it, I can issue another straigth away and there is nothing to revoke.

But I heard 4.0 is on it's way and it won't be save compatible. So I think I'll just wait until it's here (heard it has some nice features) because I either have to get rid of my vassals to make money, which will make me weak when I'm at war, or I'll just lose 30.000 every week

Just continue playing. v4.0 won't be released for atleast a month.

I think the message at the screen telling you that the edict cannot be issues or that the privileges are granted don't show up. Use button Q to view the messages.
This is no bug, but merely how Warband works.

Sorry, should have said the whole message.
The rest of the message goes "The edict should be completed in 30 days. Because your nobility holds x% power, it is decreased by x days".
