Hey there guys, I have been playing M&B for a week now, now I am playing this mod because it really have everything that is missing on the Native mod, except for the exageration of number of troops types available >.< anyway, I have a few questions if you guys dont mind to answer them.

1) Can I give a castle to a raiding party or only a lord?
2) How exactly I give a castle to a lord or a raiding party(if possible)? just the same way I give villages?
3) How do I access the diplomacy thing? I want to offer peace for a few kingdoms but I have no idea how, searched everywhere.

Thank you in advance guys, I will post more questions as they come up.

1) Talk to a fellow NPC, there is a option to make him form a raiding party. After that you can give him castles, towns, villages, whatever.
2) I quote myself here

It doesn't?
Well I take that back then.

1. Tell NPC to form a raiding party
2. Town -> Manage Kingdom -> Award Fief to Lord -> Select NPC -> Select Fief
[with .57 that is, but it shouldn't change for .58 of course]

Not that hard to find for yourself either might I add.

Edit: I just saw, that you asked especially about castles: those are on the same list. And as most (all?) have a name like "name Castle" they are easy to spot as well.
3) As far as I know, you can only declare war, at the moment. Jinnai said something about changing it in future version IIRC.

Edit:
4) You might want to check out this NPCs as lords: The lexicon topic and this Ironmanns Little Bigger Starters Guide and maybe this Frequently Asked Questions - Read this before asking any questions.
Or in short: Read the Sticky topics

Edit 2:
when I say "NPC forming a raiding party" I mean companions like Xerina, Achilles etc.

Yeah my mistake was that I thought town for some reason were villages too, I had only 3 castles conquered and not real towns, I got one right now and I am able to manage everything. Thanks for the effort tho ^^

To ask for peace you need to talk to one of the lords of the faction you are at war with.  If they don't outright attack you then you will have the option of paying them for peace.... something between 20k and 100k depending on your relation with them.

Is there any situation that an enemy lord will really talk to you? Beside the usual chatter ("But I don't wan't to fight you", etc) of course.
The only safe way of speaking to a lord of a enemy faction I can think of is once they are inside a town/castle.

Or after you captured them, hehe.

When you meet an enemy lord for the first time. They just say the usual first meeting conversation( you have a banner but I don't recognize the device...followed by what is it?). So it's good not to meet all the lords immediately.

OR, you can chase a +100 ennemy Lord with your +150 Army. The said Lord will then 'run' from you, and, once you get him, you'll be allowed to actually have a nice talk, about the aforesaid cost of a Peace Treaty.

Outside of this mod (which I'll be playing next), in the vanilla game, you can meet with any lord at any castle/town and try to make peace.  When out in the wilderness however, you must strongly outmatch the opposing force, be meeting with them the first time, or have a very high personal reputation with the lord to get the conversation options needed for peace.
