"Fell Unconcious"

I was having a fight with some random group of raiders the other day and i noticed that I got a message that said
"vaegir horseman fell unconcious"
er maybe it was "vaegir horseman lost conciousness"

Not exactly sure which it was, but anyway.

I thought it was extremely weird because it didn't give the typical message, "vaegir horseman knocked unconcious by "lil bobby joe, or whatever the troop was.

I tried searching the forums, but i got a ton of threads on blunt damage and crap instead. So, could anyone tell me what that is?

I've seen that happen to 3 bandits at a time. At first I tought it was some kind of weird bug but at the foot of a very steep cliff, on the other side of the map, I found three fallen bandits and no signs of fighting. Seems they forgot to strap on their chutes for that one.

E.A.R.T.H jumping is dangerous. Espiecally without parachutes.

It think it might also happen if their horse is killed and they are knocked unconscious from the fall.

I wondered why the bandits were raiding all the linen caravans. It's not because they need better sheets, but because their parachutes are rotten.

As others have pointed out ... it seems that they died of non-combat related injuries.

I guess i just wasn't expecting that simple of an answer, didn't even know this game had fall damage.
