I read someplace that you have to feed your troops but I don't see a food box in the Inventory screen. ( I am using the latest version)

When do i have to pay the troops as i don't see an option for this in the party window. (i'm at level 3 on my second day)

If troops die in battle, will that harm my relation ship to the town or village I recruited them from?

When troops die in battle, will more troops from the same town become available?

I read that I can train my troops. Can I give my troops new suits of armor and how do I give a horse to each one I know I can tell a Hero type to use a certain weapon, but for the nameless troops, can i give them new Armor?

Buy food from the goods merchant or villages.

At the end of every week. How much you will have to pay for the people currently in your group is displayed on the party screen.

No, having a large amount of men die will however effect your parties moral, lowering travel speed, and if it gets very low, causing desertion. Moral can be increased by leadership skill, winning battles and having a variety of foods.

Yes, new troops can be hired from each village every three or so days. Increasing your relations with a village will increase how many men are available to join you and, once it's high enough, the quality of the troops.

Training is either through the Trainer skill which will add XP to all party members lower than you at the end of each day or by going to the training grounds and sparring with your troops. You can only give equipment and horses to heroes, troops are upgraded by gaining XP and being upgraded to the next unit on the troop tree.

Thanks for the answers.

I already have some food in my inventory.. a couple of smoked fish.. but I still do not see any food box.. Could this be because i have not yet gotten a message saying my troops are hungry? ( I read that's what it would say )

So, since I have no heros yet only nameless troops, i cant give them horses. I have read that not having horses will slow your travel down. What should i do, just put up with the slow travel always because i will always have troops on foot?

keep in mind this information I have I got from a old FAQ from gamefaqs.

Just have food in your inventory, it will diminish after some time.
Upgrade tour troops if there is an + behind the troop name then click on the troop name and an option or two may come up saying a new troop name upgrade them into cavalry or knigths for horse men, withe the veagris you may have some horsemen in the Veteran rank as well.

Always try to keep yourself mounted, even if you like to fight on foot. Just dismount at the beginning. Also, try to have around 3 low-quality horses. They will give you a speed boost. This is especially useful if you're carrying many goods.

If you see references to a food slot in your inventory anyway on the web... it used to be in the game but was taken out (technical problems associated with it). So now food needs only be in your main inventory to feed your troops. Over days you'll notice the amount of food goes down. You can tweak that too for when you have a larger army.

I never carried extra horses with me... but that's just me. The speed isn't all that bad with 50 guys or so. Just keep upgrading them and some will grant you some speed bonuses (due to being mounted).

Adding skill points to your navigation skills with increase your speed on the map. That's an alternative to carrying extra horses and wasting inventory space.

Carrying extra horses in your inventory will not increase your parties travel speed, they simply act as pack horses, negating the speed penalty for the weight of the goods you're carrying.

Whether your men are mounted or not is not the biggest variable controlling your party speed. Larger parties will move slower, even if mostly cavalry. High Moral and a good pathfinding skill (keep in mind heroes can be trained in party skills so you don't have to spend points on them) will increase your party skill significantly more.
