OK I just think it would make te game alot more fun
If you can close doors on your enemies ETC.
like on siege in MP
that and also
getting teh chance to place troops in specific spots before battle
like how Rainbow 6 you can plan an attack

well teh same thing only its for eithre attck or defence
so like send 10 guys to push the tower while 10 go for sally door
and 10 others go for the ladders.
with other men waiting the charge if you understand what I mean :wink:

I just thought it will make Warband SP that mor eattractive for combat and Strategy
 
Also think that could be possible, main trouble would be coding an AI for it, since even in multiplayer it unable to activate many of the feature on it own.

But it would be really nice to be able to make multiple side assault in single player, especially with the increased battle size now available in vanilla Warband. (Throught I admit 150 unit with warband graphic put my computer to it limit, but building a new one sooner or later)

MnB 2? warband is two!

But I agree.. AI wont be smart enough to puzzle thru a simple door. But maby plary contrall gate on a siege off? you can open and troops storm court yard to help avoid cramp on siege ladders and ect ?

In either case I think the Developpers have to get cracking at making them smart for that cuz if they can

It will be one of the best games ever to come out
its really good as it is but it has kinks to take care of

Actually the system I think about is no more complex for a single AI then current vanilla system, it just assign more differentiation of AI among unit, it just the complex part to do since it would require to write completely new codding for some of the execution.


What I am thinking off it mostly been able to assign AI group to different assault side, with the appropriate coding for execution for that side. Would just also require some exception rule coding also, like AI been able to raise ladder even through they are standing on it for example.

Also some guard area command would be good also (especially for defense part, would just require maybe a coding so the area stop at castle wall limit, to prevent that they storm outside the wall without order), this would be a more active hold position basically.


Through I admit that coding the full AI side to have such multilateral defense or assault coding is an other complete other thing, but for the player army side it actually much easier and I would say in capability range of modder, if I consider some of the vanilla mod available.
