Same as always, bacon and egg on brown bread.

Get sick? Power on through!

Works for hangovers too, I'm told.

That depends largely on what way I am feeling sick.

Are there any foods that you find palatable during every one of your bouts of sickness?

Bacon with a bad hangover is a bad idea. My stomach would hate me, even though my mouth would love me.

No, not really. The foods I eat when I'm sick to my stomach aren't tasty enough for me to like at any other time.

I don't get hangovers, so I can't verify it. People always go on about the magical hangover curing properties of greasy food, though.

Ginger Ale stays nice and snug in my tummy when I'm ill. I highly recommend it, it's my beverage of choice even when I'm not sickly.
Food wise, crackers like Saltines are the best. Bland and nothing that your stomach can really say boo hoo to.

They clearly haven't been hungover enough to be truly sick the next day. If just the thought of food is enough to make you want to throw up, then you're in the right spot. Try eating bacon then.

Though, I won't advise drinking enough to get to that place.

Ramen. Though, really, any food that is solid AND liquid(IE Soup.)

Ramen seems to work best though, I find that I feel almost 100% normal after eating for about 2 hours.

If it's a really bad flu I tend to starve myself for a few days until I feel good enough to eat again, but generally when I'm sick I like chicken noodle soup with nice, big chunks of chicken (or turkey) with carrots and broccoli.

Simple foods that are not rich on the stomach.

This includes simple cereals, usually grains. Healthy carbohydrates, essentially, i.e. the grains. Ginger Ale does wonders for keeping you hydrated, and it has a wonderfully calming effect on the stomach. I should ask my chemistry teacher what the reaction for that is. Bananas can help sometimes, too.

Oh, if I have high quality organic oranges at hand (so sweet, not too acidic, not too sweet, and a good firmness), they sit well too.

Ramen. Putting Velveeta cheese in there helps a lot too (and tastes badass despite what you heathens say).

No no no. What people go on about is eating greasy food before you're hung over. The idea is to coat your stomach with something pretty neutral, like grease, so that you're less prone to an upset stomach the next morning. Also, having some food in your stomach, AND water, really helps control the headaches and wooziness you can feel the next morning from dehydration and hunger.

As far as being actually sick. I have been the last few days. Still champing through it though, going to PT, driving my motorcycle at 4 in the morning through snow and freezing rain. (Probably not helping me much). But my favorite foods have been oatmeal, breakfast burritos (without green chili), ginger ale, ginger tea and green tea, gyros, spaghetti with alfredo, and whiskey.

Its definitely after. And they're sure enough that they dont mind walking for half a mile hungover to **** at seven in the morning to find a mcdonalds.

Saying you never get hangovers is basically just saying that you've never drunk enough to have a hangover.

You hang out with ****ing stupid people then.

Foods good for hangovers, in my opinion: Toast with butter, and some Irn Bru. The toast is dry enough so you don't throw up immediately afterwards, and the butter gives a bit of taste to it. Fills a nice gap, too.

The Irn Bru has plenty of sugar, and electrolytes to stop the headaches.
