After playing nothing but vanilla since I started, I needed a mod that was far removed from native and I stumbled on the low fantasy 'Chronicles of Talera'.  The coolest thing are the story related quests, but the faction skills keep you playing.  I never get tired of the Blighted Plague's 'corpse combustion'.  When you are getting owned by your enemies you just hit a button and every corpse bursts into a massive inferno, killing friend and foe alike.  When the smoke clears you'll find the odds are evened.

Still, I'm always looking for options, so I'll return to this thread and see what's popular and why.

I guess 'other' covers everything.  Still, hordelands should be in there- its got some pretty cool looking troops in there.

you forgot to put in the eagle and the radiant cross mod that's one of my favourites! along with the star wars mod i appreciate the amount of time and effort people put into making mods, and its great when there hard work is reflected into there mods

Maybe this isn't fair since there isn't a current version for it, but Battle for Sicily will always be my favorite mod.  No other mod has really immersed you into its world so well, and the historical setting was so perfect for the M&B scale of warfare.  It's no wonder Native borrowed so much from Battle for Sicily.

Most of the mods with sub-boards, actually.

Personally, my favourite for the current version would have to be either my own (Roots of Yggdrassil) because it's the only one I've played in a while, or EATRC, though I haven't played it much for the current version it's still incredible and therefore it would probably get my vote.

For .903, Band of Warriors expanded hands down, and of course TLD for .808 and RPGmod for .751.

I love Prophecy of Pendor.  Well thought out, tons of new bandit type enemies and neutral armies that spawn around the map and cause havoc.  Can't wait for version 2.0 out soon!
