But seriously: I usually go with a one-hand sword/weapon and a shield. Makes me feel safe. As I ride along, cutting heads off, impaling them on my light lance that I keep on my horse for all cases. Khergits make good kebab.

Fast 1hander+shield is best killing machine, 2H and bow are more fun though IMO.

Nords are pretty versatile but I prefer my axe (1hander) and shield. Form a shield wall and drum your shield with your weapon while shouting taunts. I got the warspear for those pesky cavalry and throwing axes for archers.

One handed long arming sword. At some decent 1h proficiency and strength you drop nearly anyone in 1 hit, armored enemies take 2-3 hits. And seeing how incredibly fast you can attack with a 1h it makes for a perfect weapon when you charge into a enemy formation with your infantry.

I refuse to use two-handers. I've never used them in SP or MP

Two handed - Greatsword! Best 2 handed weapons in the game. If you can block and dodge a bolt you're set.

Agreed. I feel like they're a failed mix of Vaegir and Kerghit. I know they're more of a well-rounded faction, but it's still pathetic.

Also, I prefer polearms. A huge axe or sometimes a Great Bardiche
