Hello everyone, This kinda has been a popular forum thread in our regimental website, and I thought, "Why not expand it to the community?".

Basically post up either your favorite quote, or quotes you like. It can be from anything or anyone, historically or in game people.

I will post my favorite quote below, which was said by my High School Technology Class Teacher. Duncan Crannell.

"An essay is like a miniskirt, long enough to cover everything, but short enough to keep it interesting."

Post your favorite quotes below!

Quote by 14e_LtCol_Suchet
During our french conquest :

"That was a nice charge charge guys , keep it up, ( a few seconds after) they are 3 bloody lines in front of us, charge, for Napoleon ! Soldiers of the 14e : What ? We already did ; Suchet : I don't give a **** !CHARGE YOU WANKERS !!

Sounds funnier in french... but anyway its related.

To Quote Yuki from 6e:

"For Death and Glory lads!"

Each time we heard that, we knew we where going to die. We didn't survive a single time whenever he said that.

God I've used that skirt quote to describe everything from presentations to forum posts lol

Of course, here comes my mandatory Thomas Jackson quote:

'Always mystify, mislead, and surprise the enemy, if possible; and when you strike and overcome him, never let up in the pursuit so long as your men have strength to follow; for an army routed, if hotly pursued, becomes panic-stricken, and can then be destroyed by half their number. The other rule is, never fight against heavy odds, if by any possible maneuvering you can hurl your own force on only a part, and that the weakest part, of your enemy and crush it. Such tactics will win every time, and a small army may thus destroy a large one in detail, and repeated victory will make it invincible.'

what about poetry?

Sure, as long as you consider it a quote :p.

And for further clarification, you can post as many quotes as you want, not just one. It is any quote you find that you like, or is your favorite (you can have more than one favorites).

My other favorite quote is this.

Artillerymen believe the world consist of two types of people; other artillerymen and targets.

Something I said about 3 years ago that has extraordinary meaning.

"To assume before question is only to be 50% sure."

Over my lifetime (A mere 16 years) I've met many people who could have taken their lives (and mine) to much more positive places. I always stick by this, and when people don't, they get hurt .

Oh look the 87th decided to be Amish today!
