What is you favorite Heraldry/Banner and why?

Try to follow this format:
Page, Column, Row.
For example, the Stag Head would be
Page 5, Column 6, Row 2.
Which is, incidentally, my favorite banner because it looks great on shields.

I've been eyeballing that one and the hawk above it for my next playthrough. Good choice .

For M&B I used page 6, column 1, row 2. White swan & Chevron on blue background.

For Warband I've been using my own one (in my sig).

Saranid banners are better than older ones. I like the one with the orange sun the most.

I have simple tastes.  My personal one now is custom made (by Foamy).  It is the NYC tricolor - vertical blue, white, and orange.

It's rather simple but I went for the historical, since that was the banner of the Timurids, and my character is named Temujin, should have named him Timur then that would make sense.

However, at this point in the game, I just conquered and established myself as Khan of my independent Khergit Horde, and now wish my banner to be the horse archer, pg. 6, col. 2, row 1 or simply the horse next to it, pg. 6, col. 3, row 1

Still, I rather like the simple design, it's easy on the eyes

For my next playthrough, I'll play as the Sarranids with the Green banner with swords, pg. 7, col. 4, row 2. What's the diff between that one and the pg. 8, col. 8, row 2? They seem identical, only different shades of green?

For my third planned playthrough, I plan to play as the Nords or the Vaegirs ... yea I'm addicted, I know

Same here, I think it's because i'm a Greek Aquarius and the ocean with a boat (along with a sword) just feels right for me.

I've grown fond of page 8, column 4, row 2.

I chose page 3, column 6, row 2 in my current game, but it's off center. Is there a way to fix it or change my banner?

Which mod is it to use custom banners? I'd like to make and use one, thanks in advance

Go to your warband\textures folder and open one of the 'banners' files (like banners_a.dds) then open it in a program that can open .dds such as paint.net.

Make sure your banner is the right size and then just paste it overtop of the banner you'd like to replace (or you can delete the banner you'd like to replace then paste yours in it's spot, whatever). Then save it.

The banner you replaced will now show as your custom banner in-game.
