I have to add such bands as The Jam, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, In Flames, The Verve, Pavement, Mansun, Suede, Manic Street Preachers, The Sex Pistols, Garbage, The Magnetic Fields, Placebo, Belle and Sebastian, Ash, The Seahorses, The Bluetones, Sigur Rós and The Stone Roses.

For non-rock/non-metal/non-indie: Jurassic 5, The Chemical Brothers, The Beastie Boys, Einstürzende Neubauten, Kraftwerk and Prodigy. Also Leftfield, Daft Punk and New Order are alright.
