Woo, been a while since I've posted.

I'm a bit dusty on my TK history, but if you're going have Lu Bu succeeding Dong Zhuo, and a historical mod, shouldn't it be Guo Jia or Li Jue who succeeds Dong Zhuo? The pair effectively took control of Chang An after Dong Zhuo's death, and became tyrant kingdom 2.0

It was actually Jia Xu(e), not Guo Jia. As far as I remember, Guo Jia wasn't even in the worldly affairs at that point.

Guo Jia died during the year 207 at 37 years old. At the time of his death, he had been serving Cao Cao for 11 years and was still in service to him. Im not exactly sure when Li Jue and the others took over, but I believe Dong Zhuo died in 192, so it must have been soon after that. Apparently Guo Jia started serving Cao Cao in 196, so unless he served someone else first (I dont think he did), then you are correct.

I also know that Guo Si (not guo jia) assisted Li Jue in the takeover after Dong Zhuo's death. Apparently after being defeated by Cao Cao, Li Jue and Guo Si lived as bandits later on in the west.

For some suggestions for bandit parties, there should be things like Xiongnu in the North, Nanman in the South, Xianbei in the North-East, I suppose in the East you could call them Dongyi (I dont know another name for them), and in the west the Xiong tribes. Anyone may correct me if I am wrong.

Why the hell do these mods(Ancient Chinese Era Mods) keep dying? Because people arent making the mod with the right approach, rather than making the mod alone or with a friend, people should message people who tried making this kind of mod, see if they can help or send their old stuff. Gathering as many people as they need before starting would reduce chances of losing interest and make the team more productive. As for the post above me, why exactly do you need to install a program to download a file? I always get suspicious when that happens, anyone know of a more trust worthy link?

...yes. That's why I posted it. I just uninstalled it right after I downloaded the mod.

Also, to be very very technical, the Nanman weren't Vietnamese, they were a mixture of Miao, Bai, and Thai.

Cool to see someone taking up a Three Kingdoms mod. Hopefully this one fares better than the last, and best of luck with it!

Ah ok, I thought they were Vietnamese, considering the Sun occupied Vietnam and China held it till the Qing dynasty when the French came with their muskets and barely beat them out.

If only we could ask the other Azn's to translate their mods ... then we would have one heck of a Three Kindoms Mod

Side Note
Yes there are a few released Ancient china mods but its either pretty bland, for a vs thats not 1.01(0/1), or not translated in english ... the one i found was loosely translated and my friend had to instruct me step by step for about 2 hours to just find the files (Let alone the size makes my computer run at 2 fps when it would only go 6-8 fps for native)

to anyone who this may concern to, i am sorry for double posting. But seeing as i found this mod, i may as well repost it here.

May whoevers watching us be my witness (i hope its not those martians... or worse), but here comes a leap of faith ... Heres a site to LWSanguo2, a mod made by people in the Chinese Forums. I own no rights to it, nor anything of such.

The Site

The mod is a remade Native (i think) with new weapons and heroes w/ armor to look like characters from Dynasty Warriors. I dont recall the original site i got it from, but i do recall that this was one of the sites i went through to find it.

Heres that Site

It is Chinese and the language barrier does work against some. If you do find a direct site to this mod, by all means post it so i may delete my own.

For some reason i do think this is in the wrong section, XD ... but then again it may only fit in only a few places including this one

is this gonna b realistic or................SUPER GENERALS WITH 700 KILLS+

Depends if he bases it off of RotTK or DW.

Someone really needs to get one of these going.  Sure I have Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5 (lost 3) sitting near me as well as Romance VIII, X, and XI, but...

Dammit. This thread keeps getting revived. The mod is dead, so no it won't.

We're encouraged to use the search bar and old threads instead of constantly making new ones, no?
