Fast way to improving relation with Factions?

The only ways I know of are helping Lords(that are in the faction that I want to improve my relations with) with fighting their enemies. But are there any other, quicker and possibly easier ways of getting relation up with a faction?

Helping peasants or caravans tends to be a bit easier, the more trouble they are in the more points you'll get.

There is very little point in gaining favour with them, you can be at 100 relations and they'll randomly declare war on you anyway.

Hmm. Is this any quests for the villages? Because last time I recall doing a quest(which wasn't long ago) I didn't get any faction relation points .

Yeah I know, but this is for native expansion, where if I get 50 relation points I get a nice piece of equipment .

I thought that doing village quests helped your faction relation as well as your relation with the village, but I guess I could be wrong. I've never played Native Expansion.

No. You get faction points for helping in battle only. So, help villagers (HUGE bonus), caravans (often a very good bonus), and lord parties (depends on how hard the battle is, but you could get a pretty large bonus!).

Yeah, I only just noticed that I double posted, I thought I had posted before the other person :S.

And also, I have not yet joined a faction, so maybe I have to join one before it goes up with village quests? I'll try once I join a faction.

Again, only in battle, not by doing quests.

Could be, though I think that stygN is correct.

I think so too : )

(You may slap me with a dull toothbrush if I'm wrong.)

Is accidently double posting worse than giving advice you just guess at?  In native, doing village quests has no impact on faction relations.  The nice thing is that even if you have -100 relations with a faction, you can still recruit from their village if you have a couple relation points.  I'm sure it really pisses lords off when they see their own peasants from their own fiefs fighting against them.

I never just guess at anything, mistakes happen. Is that hostility really necessary?

Requesting forum etiquette is always justifiable.

Alright guys, thanks for the help, and thanks stygN for the detailed and helpful post. Time to go find some lonely peasants, follow them, and wait till they get attacked..

How fun
