Farcry 2 really needed a more developed plot instead of just running around and being shot on sight by everyone while doing the same rehashed mission over and over and ove-

The game was alright but it was horribly crapped on a few aspects. No need to mention them, since they already have been. I found the map editor to be quite nice. I liked creating my own multiplayer maps and then playing them. You can make some crazy **** with that.

The game was good in some parts, ****ty in others. Far Cry 1 was brilliant fun, Far Cry 2 removed the mutant **** that I liked :/

Actually the ai was brilliant at times, though it was indeed lacking more often than not, I still had tonnes of fun with FC2 even with all its flaws. If only they had released an SDK for it. I found the story to be pretty good as well. Especially the ending where i had to ...... . But the missions were repetitive as hell, and the almost instant respawn of checkpoints was annoying too.
The trailer for FC3 looks pretty neat, i just hope they focus more on the singleplayer this time.

FarCry 2 had one of the best plots I've ever seen in an FPS, and also stands amongst the few games which can claim to be for mature audiences without meaning they're full of tits or gore.Devercia 说:

I agree, I really felt like I was in Africa and I really believed in that I had a disease. Also the weapon degrading was pretty fun to look at but they degraded too fast.
I also liked that the currency was diamonds but it felt like it was inflated, 15 diamonds for a bigger bandolier?! Seriously?
