Considering the realistic tone of the game, I think these weapons should be removed:
- Sledgehammers, resembling tools from stone age. While something crude like that could be a makeshift weapon of some peasant, regular troops did not use anything like that - the head would be too heavy and the weapon imbalanced and unwieldy.
Instead, what is called "military pick" in the game is actually a warhammer of professional soldiers, capable of delivering both crushing and piercing blows (to penetrate armor). Long, two-handed version existed as well (instead of "polehammer" in the game, that looks also quite strange).
- Double axe - originally called "Labris" by the ancient Greeks, this weapon was used for sacrificial ceremonies, but never in battle. The head would be so heavy it would be impossible to use. There were double axes, but the heads were much smaller. The bardiche and the viking-style axe with narrow blade in the game is fine (narrow blade is advantageous, because it penetrates enemy defense easier, capable of striking "behind" the blocking blade or shield).
Also, the shafts of the professional weapons (warhammers, axes, pikes) were often either all-metal (hammers and axes), or wooden with reinforcing straps of metal (pikes).
