Family Feud Quest Issue

I've done this quest before so I know how it works. When taking the villager to talk with the person from the other village he doesn't come into the village with me. I have 5 companions so I think the other companions are taking priority instead of the quest character. Any help would be appreciated.

Also since it's kinda related, you should definitely be able to bring in more than 3 companions into a town or village.

Also this quest character for some reason is a part of my clan and acting like a normal companion.

I just sent this quest character Jamanys off to do a quest for another village because hes my companion lol
