Fallout Tactics?

I recently purchased Fallout Tactics from GOG (finally). I've only played through the first couple of missions, but I already love it. The combat seems to be pretty well polished and fun. Also, imagine my surprise to find a campaign editor. Woo endless possibilities, right? Well, no, not really. From what I've seen, the selection of mods is pretty ****ing meager. Am I missing a big archive of mods somewhere? Did the game sell that badly? What gives?

Also, can anyone explain to me how to get the tiles working in the editor?

Tactics was pretty much hated by the RPG-community which wanted a proper Fallout3 (the legendary Van Buren) instead of squad-level tactical game which started the bastardization of Fallout-lore and slapped a silly RT-mechanic on the game. It has received some love later, though - I'd start the search from No Mutant's Allowed, the premier Fallout site.

The game's alright, but later on the combat just gets tedious and the story gets really stupid.

The game wasn't what the FO community wanted at the time, it has problems following lore, and it was basically rejected by a large number of FO fans. But it is a good game.

Doesn't seem like there's anything wrong with it that can't be fixed with a few good mods. I mean, hell, as a tactical game the engine is really great from what I've seen so far.

Anyway, about the only campaign I found was Awaken. Looks promising.

I just bought the game, and did the first mission, but when I try to give my new recruits guns and stuff, sometimes items got lost in transmission. Any help?
