Fallout 1

This isnt a Fallout 1 Thread persay,I just need some help'

I just started playing last night,and to be blind,I Suck. Bad.


Most i can survive is around 140 days before the urge to just shoot things becomes to great,So how can i last longer.

For one thing i dont know what to do,mostly i grab a gun and some ammo and just wonder around the wasteland,shooting anything and everyone i see untill something or someone gets me,and that doesnt take long.


And bottlecaps,i know what they are for but i never use em,to hard to get and they arent worth much.

What you are supposed to do is pretty obvious.

Big hint of advice...  Drop f1 and start with f2.  I barely ever played f1 and didnt really like it much.  Fallout 2 is just pretty much a remake of the first one in a diffrence area with a lot mroe features and developers with just that much more time and experiance.

Falllout 2 had a teamfull of ****wits who didn't communicate with each other untill the very end, and the whole game was shat out in less than a year. Fallout 1 is better, if only for the fact that it isn't stuffed full of ****fests like New Reno, San Fransisco, etc.

I will maintain that Fallout 1 is a better game than 2. The setting got a bit "diluted" in F2, but the fixes to the engine actually make for a better experience.

I am having doubt wether is the OP a clever troll, or he's funadmentally misunderstood some core aspects of Fallout.

What's special about fallouts..hmm. The setting, the plot construction, the characterisation... lot's of other little things that make for one of the best series in the genre.

Ok i got Fallout 2,i beat the temple,and got killed by a damn COW and bloody ****ing cow kicked my ass,me,a man with a sharp stick!??!?! wtf?

God do i suck that badly????

Yeah, you suck. But seriously, I've gotten killed by them too. Just get a shotgun and 10 agility. Two shots, reload, aimed shot, reload, two shots. Repeat until everything is dead. Works like a charm.

You have a lot of freedom for a computer game. Lots of sidequests and choices to be made. The setting is completely ****win as well.

Why the **** do you attack everything? Is there really something that badly wrong with you? Jesus, I beat both games when I was 12. They aren't that hard.

I haven't played that much of 2, but I found Fallout 1 to be pretty easy, even at the hardest times.


Particularly when you can just reload over and over again until you get good critical hits

I got back on again,lasted 4 years before dieing,i had Metal armor and a handgun,I died from floaters.

i also had about 1200 money so i think i did better?
