Fall damage when your horse is shot down.

I agree. Falling off a horse can be very bad if you land wrong. Getting a war horse or any horse for that matter shot/cut from under you at full gallop would in the very least take your breath away and stun you. Worst case kill you.

It would make a good addition. There is charging damages for a horse, damage for a dangerous dismounting seems fitting.

There is some damage when you fall of a horse. But it is very small.

I have shot people's horse when the rider is almost dead and they die with the horse.

I've killed rider and horse simultaneously as well, but in my instances, the man was dead before he hit the ground.

Sometime the blow kill the man and continue to the horse, I think.

IMO fall damage should be on par with the armor you are wearing. Falling when wearing leather hurt, but falling when wearing plate armor hurt quite more.

Why would it hurt more with plate armor?

Because you have no chance to roll, so you take a full hit. Because of the inertia. The heavier the armor, the harder the fall.
And because armor don't protect that well against  blunt damage, in fact your own armor can kill you (by bending)

Why can you not roll in plate armor? What is that for rubbish! Inertia will certainly not prevent you from rolling.
I dont think your plate armor will bend if you fall on the ground. Maybe if your horse falls on top you (That was no suggestion).

The heavier the armor, the harder the fall. Agree, full plate weighs about 25-30 kg. Not so much it would hurt more, as the armor also absorbs some damage (that where its for).

I am pretty sure it will bend after a fall for an horse galloping.
Rolling as in judo rolling, to absorb the blow by curving yourself and being as relaxed as you can be (not sure this sound right in english. oh whatever)
Metal armor are not good at absorbing blows. that's why you have something like layers of silk (silk, the medieval kevlar...).
So, IMO, you have a lot more chances to break your neck or limbs in full armor than in clothes. More weight, more pressure, more inertia. Oh, and you will absolutly one-shot the poor guy you are falling on (poetic vengeance)

But no, I will not test that Myth Buster-like.

I think with cloth armor, it is much easier to "absorb" the damage when rolling.
But plate armor is... armor, so that should reduce the damage if you're not rolling (compared to cloth armor).
