Oh my god.
I just played its demo i got from a game mag CD. I am not an adventure player. But this game. Its gonna change alot, A LOT of things if the dev team does not make amateur mistakes.

Let me point out some features from Fahrenheit.

* Unlike standart adventures, all, ALL the choices you make change the way the game goes.
* You have to watch your character's mood.
* Game is real time, some time screensplits to show an important place/person
* Instead of just clicking for an action, there are several new ways. For example you turn against a mirror and a shower. Two icons show up on the top. One of them shows a move to left with an eye icon and the other has a shower icon with a move to up. So you drag mouse up and you take a shower and or drag to left to look at mirror. Sometimes you have to do it several times, or for some actions you quickly press left and right arrow keys continously.

Let me give an example from demo. For those who havent played the demo and wanna explore by theirselves...

SPOILER AHEAD!

The start. Main char enters a trance stance and kills the guy. We are in a toilet of dine restaurant. Then the char goes out of trance and realizes what he has done. In fear. You get the control after the demo.

Char is depressed.
You may just go out of the toilet. Since your char is in a bad mood, he hastily opens the door and runs out.. into the waitress. She falls and the cop sitting there looks up. You are covered in blood so the cop start to come to ask if you are ok. Screen splits, you have the control. You can just wait. Then the cop finds out the body and this is one of the ends of demo. You can run before he comes, cop calls police after discovering the body. You can take a taxi or the metro to run away.

OR

Instead of hastily going out, you can drag the body inside one of the toilet cabinets, clean the blood in the floor, clean your clothes, pee, take a look at yourself in mirror.

Chara is now anxious.
Now he opens the door without any haste, he's ok now. You can pay the bill and go away, with no worries. Another end.

There are more thing too. For example, if you try to go out directly w/o paying the bill, the waitress says "hey mister" char thinks "oh god, she noticed something" and char mood goes down. then the waitress says its just the bill and he feels better.

I am very eagerly waiting for it for PC. I recommend trying the demo.

i read an article about this in a mag... and i saw it in the shops at lunch today as well... looks pretty good but not ENTIRLY my genre
