Factions inspirated from...

When I first downloaded the game, I was looking for real factions from history. But as you know all of the factions are fiction. However it's very likely producers were inspirated from some real empires and states. Here are my guesses

Sarranids: Definetely Arabs. No discussion.

Khergits: Their armor looks like Japanese suit but their style of fighting (for example mounted archery) seems like Mongolian. Maybe Khergits are half-Japanese, half-Mongol.

Nords: Vikings, Scandinavians I think. The mythology of scandinavian is called nordic mythology I guess.

Vaegir: They also seem like Scandinavians, but I think their suits look like belonging to the time prior to Imperial Russia.

Swadians: Their heavy knights remind me of Hungarians or maybe Germans.

Rhodoks: Rhodoks are the most unknown to me. I just got an idea from their sharpshooters. Maybe Britain.

What are your predictions or thoughts?

Sarranids = Arabs
Khergits = Mongols and a bit of Japaneese
Nords = Vikings
Vaegirs = Russia, Polland, maybe, just maybe a bit of Balkans and Byzantia.
Swadians = They look mostly like Germans and English to me, just a bit of France
Rhodoks = Based on Italy and Switzerland, that is what wiki say.

Swadia is most definitely an amalgamation of the 'hundred year war' countries. Western Europe as it were.

Vaegir is eastern Europe, pre Tsar era's.

Nord is a mixture of Danes, Saxons, Geats and Fresians.

Sarranids is comparable to the Saracen tribes.

Khergits are Mongolian, the Mongolian empire reached down and through Europe and even managed to reach France at one point before it was crushed back to the east. So it stands to reason they have Chinese and Japanese influenced themes.

Rhodoks I've always seen as a more middle European cluster, like from Hungary, Romania and such countries.

But that's just my opinions.

Sarranids= Mainly a Persian Influence with Saracen backings, and of course, Arabians.

Khergits= Mongolians who have Turkish cultural influences, especially architecture and some names.

Rhodoks= Italian City States combined with the Swiss, Flemish and some other Hundred years war factions.

Vaegirs= are mainly Slavic, like Russians. They have Lithianian and Balklan aspects to, but im just going to put as Slavic influences.

Nords= Obviously the damn Vikings and other Norse races. Saxons, Jutes, Angles, Danes, Sweds, Finns, you get the point.

Swadia= Holy Roman Empire and France.
