Faction Templates?

Hi there!

It's a small question, but I'm rather curious about it:


What do those faction templates do, which get created each few days? And what do those numbers next to the various religions exactly indicate?
 
I have no idea what the faction templates indicate but the numbers represent all the troops that belong to each religion in your party. You and your companions are faithless so it only counts recruited troops
 
please guys i need help i was download new version 1.132 of 1257 ad mod ,,,,but my old save game isn't opened and  it show me this message "  load error invalid of item kinds 993" ,,,,,,,,,, can any one help me also i forget to tell you i have download a "  diplomacy " mod thanks

Ah thanks. Is there any way I can join a faith? I already joined Teutonic Order, so catholic faith.
 
You automatically start as a Roman Catholic (unless you actually join a faction of different religion though I think you do start off as a Catholic)
Once you establish your kingdom, you can chose a religion of your choice through your wife (minister). To my understanding, you can change it back once every 30 days..

may I suggest you try this:

Quick fix for the skyboxes, open module.ini in a text editor find the line:

load_mod_resource=skyboxes

replace with

load_resource=skyboxes

then go to 'Data' in the module's folder and delete the file called 'skyboxes.txt' from there.

and for any errors look into the thread where possible solutions can be found...

Converting parties to faction templates...

That is just a debugging message I should remove, it means all NPC armies, garrisons are checked to see if they have troops they shouldn't have, such as Saracen in Crusader armies etc.
 
But still there something odd about those troops they shouldnt have, othr.

I remember wrong or it was said this will be repaired for next release?
 
What is odd about them?  The trigger runs once a week so at times they may have stuff they shouldn't have, I didn't want to make the trigger run too often, after all it's more of a cosmetic issue.
 
Odd is  this doesnt work...for me at least. All mine lords have troops of their origin, not of mine kingdom/religion. So ive asked... Do they always will bring their comerades beyond the seas or when i choose arab they will bring me arabs only, everyone?

I play 1257ad mod for warband 1.143 but not updated because I changed map. I play with my own kingdom, my religion is Ortodox and all my estates have eastern recruit. But when I gain vassal to join me, even if he has eastern troop (ortodox religion – Serbian, Bulgarian…) after trigger “converting parties to faction templates”, all his troops become Roman Catholicism. Is there any easy way to turn off this trigger or change factions.txt (fac_player_faction or  fac_player_supporters_faction) in notepad, because I don’t know how to use any editor. I spent many days making my kingdom, so please help me!
