Faction-specific Destriers?

Ok so on my Gaelic Kingdoms character, I noticed that I started out with an "Irish Destrier". It has since been lamed and it got me thinking- is it possible to replace these horses? Or are they one-time things? And do you gain one if you join a faction?

Keep an injured horse in your inventory and it will heal, no need to buy a new one.

Oh I know about that. I was wondering if they were buyable though, and if you got one upon joining a faction (even if you didn't start off with them). If so I want to collect them all

They should be available for sale in Irish towns, not all the time, there is a chance that the horse merchants will have it though.
