Faction name

Hey guys,

I've recently captured a castle and a city of the vaegirs without being in a faction (This was planned). Now it made me leader of a new faction... It's called "Kingdom of Vaegirs Rebels". I understand why it's named like this but I was wondering if there was a way to rename the faction. So... Is there a way?

Not in the game.

Possibly doable by messing with text files, though I'm not 100% on if its possible or how to do it.

The first Castle/City you capture decides your faction name, E.G if you capture an Swadian castle your nation will be called "Swadian Rebels" or something like that.

Ah ok, good to know that. I don't want to download any mods or mess with game files so I'll just try living with the name "Kingdom of Vaegirs Rebels"  .

There are certain mods which allow you to change the kindgom name if you're independant, but Vanilla native dosnt allow for that. I know if you look into the 82 tweaks of magelord (right guy? I think it is) then there is a pretty simple way that you can chnage the kindgom name to you're characters name. But I think you might have to have you're characters name as whatever you want it to be, say "Kingdom of Random Peoples", when you capture your city, and change it back afterwards. Look in Zendar Town Square for the 82 text tweaks. Their all pretty simple to do. Hope that helps!

You can actually, can't remember how, but look in the 82 tweaks thread, should be there.
