Hey Guys,

I have a problem in my actual game, i have been in the kingdom of ravenstern for 150 ingame days and now i want to start my own kingdom but hold my old fiefs (2 cities 3 castles), but when i talk to the king and want to leave, i will lose my fiefs. So i tryed to conquer many castles and take them as reward and then if gregory refuses, i will rebell an start my own kingdom, so the problem is he give me everything i conquer so maybe thats a bug or he just loves me? Is there a other way to leave your faction and hold your fiefs=?

I would be grateful for help ^^ (to the native english speakers, sorry for raping your language)

What's your relation with him? If it's really high I think he give you pretty much everything you ask for. Try failing a few quests for him (make sure Morale is high when you do, some companions don't like it when you fail quests).

The other (more risky) thing you can do is take all but 20-30 Soldiers out of each city you own, leave the kingdom, then take them back. You'll loose a lot of soldiers in the garrison this way so you'll want to keep your party full of the best troops.

The best way to declare war on Raverstern once you've left is to talk to some of the farmers that wonder around and tell them you're going to rob them (but leave at the last minute, it gives you - relation without losing the honor etc).

You can then go up to each city you've left with hardly any troops and talk to the castle commander - get them to surrender and you'll get the castle/city without a fight if you outnumber them enough :smile:

What ended up working for me as an Empire vassal was capturing High Pass Fortress myself, requesting it as a fief and then refusing Marius' offers for it 4 times. On the fifth he finally gave it to someone else and I was able to rebel.

Raising your controversy will work every time. It helps if you are the marshal. Let some villages get raided, pass by some of your lords when they are in battle. Another way to raise it is the "work together to advance our standing" quest.

When I really want to leave my faction to start my own kingdom by turning over my fiefs, heres what I do;

1. Load the garrisons with fodder troops, at least 200 in the castles and 500 in the towns. There is enough recruits and farmer type prisoners, anything with wages 10 denars and under. The AI only sees numbers.

2.Leave the faction when they are at war. Preferably 2 or more factions. They won't have time to bother with you.

3. Load the garrisons with prisoners that you can recruit.

4. Leave the last town with no garrison or prisoners and load your party with your best troops.

5. Talk to the king and tell him to stick it. Then find the nearest caravan and charge him a toll.

6. Start taking centers back.

Or you can request for the fief. When the king grants them to you, refuse the honor. Keep refusing until the king grants them to someone else. Then rebel.

It's nice method. Very strange but cool.
