Faction declaring war on everyone, is there any way to get the leader to propose peace?

All my hard work capturing cities has been undone due to my low iq leader Rhaegar declaring war on all factions

Now I'm just stuck inside Lyracon, defending it from the armies of Battania, Sturgia, Aserai and Khuzait one after the other.

As i see it, there is aboslutly no long term interest of factions and lords except fighting. So it comes to the random declaring of war.

I mean, it looks like there is no diplomacy option in the game at all. You can't talk about the lords interests. You cannot ask them, what they want and why the should fight or should not fight.

At this point I feel that there is a major major major lack of needed game-content. The factions doesn't even communicate properly with each other. It's nothing more than declare war or make peace.
