Faction Changes By Lords

Is there a way to prevent lords from changing factions ? Beacuse when i see a a rhodok lord in sarranid clothes it frustrates me, and more importanly lords that change their factions uses mixed type of armies like who would want to see a rhodok sharpshooter with a swadian knight in the same army ?.Any suggestions to fix this ?.

I read about this "fix" recently on another thread but don't know how well it works.  In simple triggers, there is a section of code pertaining to automatic defections and indictments.  You can modify the negative relationship threshold that triggers automatic defection or indictment.  For example, in WB 1.158 the threshold is set at a relation of -50 between the lord and his liege.  You can adjust that value to be -75 for example so that lords will need to have that much worse relations to automatically defect or be indicted by their king.

This is exactly the case. Search the file simple_triggers.txt for the value -50 (should show up twice in the file, in the same large block of numbers); change it to something lower, like -75 (which it was in early versions of warband) or even -999 if you really don't want any defections.

Just changing that number will adjust relation-based defections, though it would continue to allow lords to defect when their original faction loses all its walled centers (and thus allow the faction's defeat).
