Faction Architecture - Cities and Castles

It's easy to identify an Aserai city or castle due to the unique sandstone look to all the buildings, but I was wondering if there will be marked and clear differences in stytle between say, a Valandian castle and a Battanian one?

There are LOADS of comparisons online detailing the troops + armor sets of the factions ... but what about the strengths and weaknesses of their respective castles and cities?

I have a feeling Vlandian castles are going to look pretty huge and imposing. Your thoughts?

I know that Imperial cities will have red paint on the bottom of their houses for the most part, which is neat. They might also have various columns and statues, which is lovely.

Vlandians will have imposing castles? Bah! More like organised rubble befitting traitor mercenaries!

As to the rest of the savage factions... I do not know, the only colour they will have when we Imperials are done with them will be charcoal black.

For the Empress!

In the Battania blog I think there was a mention about how they imagined what a huge Celtic city might look like, since medieval Celts didn't live in big urban settlements. Based on what I've seen I'm guessing the Battanians will rely heavily on wooden buildings, since where they live timber is the most readily availble resource.
Not sure about the Vlandians, since if they are relative newcomers, they might have just adapted imperial buildings to suit their needs.
I'm hoping that the Khuzait have a more distinguishable architecture, since in WB their houses look identical to the Sarranid ones.

Vlandian stuff is going to be based on Norman architecture from north west Europe, I believe. Battanian castles, and possibly cities, are apparently going to be some sort of imagining of what an iron-age hill fort might have become had they continued in use into the middle ages.

Interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing which are the easiest and the hardest to seige in game.
