I made a helmet with a part so the face will be visible...well I thought I just dont need to cap the gap and that's all but seems that I need to make more than this :grin:

What exactly did I missed?

What the hell did you do to get that? The head model loads automatically under all helmets.. I really don't see how you could have messed this up.
Maybe the latest version included a flag to hide the face? (I don't know since I haven't checked that out yet..)

Could you paste your helmet item code here?

It's the code but not the same mesh - but same sympthoms...

Same appears with the armor and leg stuff...

Yeah, like I thought they added a new flag (or one I never noticed before anyway :lol)

Remove "|itp_covers_head" and it should work fine.
 
That's actually been around for quite some time. I suppose it's to cut down on tris when a helm covers everything. There's no point to load the head if you can't see it.

That was put in back during v.0.750 or so, when the great helm became a solid mass.
