Fable Mod

fable was great - a fable mod would be great.. as long as you dont make it with the lame features of fable. i hated how u advance 1 skill and it advances your age by like 10 years and i hate how it made your guy abnormally Huge and the arcane things that come onto ur guy if u learn more then 1 spell. that ruined the game for me. i loved way my char looked in the beginning.. all normal looking..

WTF? You advanced in age when you completed quests, AFAIK, and I don't know what version you were playing, but my strength four character looks nearly exactly the same as the dickweed he is in the beginning.

Strenght 4 isn't much.. and AFAIK, you gain age every time you increase your stats.
In the end, you walk around the city and feel like a giant.. Thunder is still bigger, though (I'm glad I had a chance to kill him)

Whoa. Fable TLC is a good game, though yeah it would be hard to add it to Mount and blade... i can just imagine it...

I guess the guy who introduced the idea was put off by the completely negative reaction in received in his idea.  I personally think a Fable Mod would be silly compared to the actuall game.  I think the best mods are based off of books/time periods/ movies/ etc. as opposed to things that only exist in other games.

All of that having been said, I think that he should make it.  I'd probably at least give it a try.
