Export/Import?

I noticed that when you look at your character screen (by pressing c), it the corner it says "statistics". Opening that shows a nice little panel with how many kills/wounds you have. There are also two buttons, one saying "Import Character" and the other "Export Character". I tried "export" as an experiment to see what it would do, but it hasn't changed anything. Anyone know what these do?

It exports your character's stats tp a .txt file titled with your characters name, located in your \Documents\Mount & Blade Warband\Characters\ folder. You can then do a few things with this file. One, you can import that character's stats into a new saved game. Or, two, you can edit the .txt file and re-import your character with the changed stats.

Note that you can only import a character when the in-game character's name matches the name of the .txt file and the "name =  Name" line in that file.
