Excellent simulation on mounted combat!

I just purchased my key for this game--and while still only at level 5! The depiction of horses and mounted combat is amazing for its simplicity of function, yet captures the 'feel' of horses better than anything I've seen. When moving my steppe pony I've come to visualize the tapping of the keys as the various prods, nudges or pulls with hand and heel (though in Mongolian culture, the swing of a short whip toward the rear is usually enough to get ones horse to pick up speed). Looking forward to seeing this game develop. Well done!

Welcome! Yes, it is the best mounted combat sim in existance. I just played the Joan of Arc demo a couple of weeks ago, and got a horse on there...i must say it felt like i was driving a car on a racing game

To date this is the only game I have played with good mounted combat. Hopefully Gun will have good horse combat when it comes out.

Yeah, it is. But again, its just the demo...and i didn't like it enough to actually buy it. Just a mindless hack n' slash with a failed attempt to add a rts feel to it. Although the music was really good!

YEs, I agree to that, it's dead, they abandoned it. *Sigh* they could have learned and put more time into a sequal.

Definately the best mounted combat game I've played...that doesn't say much though - it's the only one I've played. That aside, it is a particularly well executed game with great replayability - it takes a long time to get tired of! Definately well worth the money.
