I believe that there was a Creator, just not the Christian version. I also believe in evolution, since my religion's creation story is pretty vague and open for interpretation/adaption. Kind of the strength of animism, really.

I believe religion is just a human-made thing. I believe humans, always have the urge to give meaning to their lives...therefore religion is like a need for humans. So throughout history, they through certain things that have happened or some fantasy books published, they created religions. Which made them feel better.

I do not know answer to universe, but I do not give all the credit to a god. I am an atheist....and I believe religions turn people into slaves. Mind-wise....which makes them easier to rule for politicians...easer to take away their humanity. Justify death...and various other BS.

Our purpose should be reproducing(or as they say, "****ing" and "loving") and raising good kids....also helping humanity in every way possible. Thats how it should work......(I'm an anarchist-minded person, *****)

So how do you feel about LaVey's belief that most humans require a certain amount of ceremony in their lives? Also, when you say "religions turn people into slaves", are you referring to all religions or just organized ones?

To be on-topic, I believe that Christianity is correct, and that God made the universe, and redeemed us of sin through Jesus Christ. However, I differ from my church in that I believe that God did not leave the rest of the universe empty. Considering the Bible does not touch on it, I think it's perfectly reasonable to speculate that God may have given life to other planets throughout the galaxy, universe, etc.
