event log?

is there an even log anywhere? i see glimpses of my wife or companion did something and it's gone before i can read it. it would be so much easier if i could just access a log.

+1 for a rich text log. I am constantly missing things or only catching parts. Especially since some things appear in the banner in the top of the screen and some things are in the left hand log, but not in both places, so if it happens in the banner and I miss it, then I have no way to see it ever again. Would be super helpful to have a log of ALL of it, and some sort of filter i.e. loot events, battle events, social events, etc., would be amazing.

Plus the log is cleared sometimes, I think when you enter/exit fief.

The log is cleared any time you change scenes. So even speaking to a lord on the map will clear the log.

Devs replied to this in the feedback section:

We have planned changes for that (campaign map chat)panel but it's too early to talk about them yet.

Currently you can "enable" campaign map chat window with Enter, and use scroll wheel to look at old messages.
