Event Crashes My Game

I'm having a problem with one of my save files. Every time I open it, about ten world map seconds later, a random event pops up and immediately crashes my game. I don't even get to see what it is, it just pops up the 'application not responding' window, then fully crashes. It doesn't matter what my character's doing. As long as time is going by in the campaign map, be it waiting, camping or moving, the event crashes my game.

I've already tried verifying the Steam cache, but it didn't do anything.

What's strange, though, is that it only happens on this save file, not on the others.

This is happening to me as well, exact same problem just that im playing ACOK 2.2. Any response would be nice.
