European Warband Weekend Cup

  • One WWC Season consists of four different Warband Weekend Cups
  • Winners of those four WWCs qualify for Champions Warband Weekend Cup where teams will compete for the Golden Cup and the Title of Season Champion
  • In case we have a team that managed to win two Gold medals during one Season another WWC will be played to determine the last participant of the Champions WWC
  • This additional WWC is called WWC Special. First teams to be invited to this WWC Special will be Silver Medal winners (of the current season)
  • In case we have a team that managed to win two Silver medals or a team that just is not able to play Wild Card will be awarded
  • Wild Card will usually be awarded to the team that has participated in WWC at least once. However it is up to admins to make the final decision about this

  • There is no limit to roster
  • During One Season one player can only play for one team in European Warband Weekend Cups
  • In case player was on the roster of one team, but didn't play in any round for that team, then he is allowed to request transfer to another team
  • Team Captains must submit their Roster till Thursday midnight (GMT-zone)
  • Captains must submit player IDs when signing their members for roster
  • You can use only players that are on your roster
  • Play under names you signed up as on your team's roster
  • There is no rule which stops teams that already played in WWC during one season to sign up again. However if another team that is yet to participate in WWC in current season signs up, team that already played might be needed to drop

  • Semi-final matches must be played on Friday (Friday is only available if both teams agree to it) or Saturday. It is up to the teams involved to agree on time. Winners of the Semis will fight in Final that must be played on Sunday or Monday (Monday is only available if both teams agree to it). Defeated semi finalists will fight for Third place on Sunday or Monday(Monday is only available if both teams agree to it)
  • Matches will be played with 8 players on each team. If both teams agree it can be played with even more players
  • Combat Speed: Medium, Friendly Fire %100, Round Time: 210 seconds, Game Type: Battle, Re-spawn time: 8 sec, Gold: All set to %100, Camera: team member’s view, forced MotF spawn on 2 minutes
  • Every match will consist of 4 sets that are played over two maps. Each set is played first to 3. So in other words, set is over when one team has won 3 rounds
  • Spawn and Factions are changed after set is over.
  • The winner of the match is the team that won most rounds after two maps
  • Substitutions are only allowed between each set , i.e: Half way through the match. If a player crashes on game, substitutions can be done after the round has ended
  • In the event of match being tied after both maps have been played, third map will be played
  • Third map, The Overtime map, is called Winterburg and it will be played first to 3 rounds. Each team will choose their faction. For this OT map factions can be mirrored. Team that won the duels will choose faction first
  • Winner of the OT map, Winterburg, is the winner of the match
  • After sign ups are closed we will reveal 2 fixed maps that will be played in the coming WWC. Both fixed maps will be picked from the Special Category of maps. One of these fixed maps will be played in the Semi Final matches and other fixed map will be played in the First/Third place matches. These maps are fixed and they must be played in the matches
  • Fixed map will always be played first in the match
  • Duel will decide who picks second map and first faction on that map
  • Second map is chosen by the duels. Two chosen(by team captains) players will duel for the chance to pick second map&faction first. Duel will be best of 3. Or in other words first duelist to win 2 duels is victorious and his team will pick second Map and first Faction. Only default armor can be used in Duels. All melee weapons and shields are allowed as long as they do not cost more then 1000 denars
  • After Duel is over Team that lost duel will pick first faction for the fixed map. Team that won the duel then picks the second faction for the fixed map
  • When the first map is over Winner of the Duels will pick second map and first faction for that map. Defeated Team (in duel) then picks their faction for the second map
  • Second map must be picked from either Open/Mixed maps Category or Closed maps Category
  • There are two map categories(see Map list below) from which teams can choose their map(the second map of the match): Open/Mixed maps and Closed maps
  • Special Category maps. This category includes potential competitive maps that could be used in next big tournaments. I think custom maps really should be tested in competitive(but also not so serious) scrims before used in bigger tournaments so WWC is perfect testing ground. Fixed maps will always be picked from this Special Category
  • Factions may not be mirrored, nor may they be reused on the second map. Example; This basically means that if  Swadia and Vaegirs were played on first map, then on second map you can only pick from the three remaining factions: Rhodoks, Nords or Sarranids
  • Reporting match results: It would be nice if screenshots from all sets could be posted here in this thread. That way we can archive them(for future stats) and maybe pick Most Valuable Players(MVP).
  • Modifying any texture files in order to gain an advantage is strictly prohibited. Any player or team that is found to have modified textures in order to gain an advantage will immediately face severe punishment, likely a ban from the tournament, though the severity is up to the admins' discretion.
    Players that attempt to utilize any kind of autoblock, aimbot or any other game modification that gives them an advantage will be immediately banned from the tournament. Cosmetic changes, such as round timers and crosshairs, etc , do not count.
  • All matches must be played on official WWC servers because it will be easier for admins to do their job. And also it's the only place where all the maps WWC uses can be found
  • If player or a team breaks a rule Admins will have meeting and decide if and how they will be punished
  • To minimize the chances of one player playing for 2 teams admins have rights to check IDs in match if they suspect someone is breaking the rules. Penalty for playing for two or more teams during current season is banning of a player from that season. Team for which that player played might be punished as well. It will be up to admins to decide on that
  • During matches any chat messages that are deemed to be malicious, racist, or bullying towards an individual on another team are prohibited and may be disciplined upon review
  • Match must start(at latest) 20 minutes after arranged time. Team that is ready to play after this period of time can claim right to default win(if they want to) in case their opponent is not ready to start. Before claiming rights to a default win be sure to contact admins or capture screenshots.
